Aunt Jennica

What would we do without wonderful Aunt Jenn?! Shaye's sister Jennica has been the biggest life saver the past few weeks. She has been so kind as to come babysit Peyton once or twice a week. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. It has really helped to have her here with Peyton so we didn't have to worry about taking him somewhere. Jenn is just getting ready to leave on her mission to the Philippines in a few weeks, we don't know what we'll do when she gone! We are so excited for her though and we are so proud of her and all her good choices. Thank you so much Jenn, you'll never know how grateful we are for your willingness to help us out! We;ll miss you but we know it will be the best thing you've ever done!
Can't you tell that Peyton loves his Aunt Jennica?!
Here we are at the temple with Jenn, we're so proud of you! From one Sister missionary to another it will be the best time of your life! (The hardest too, but the best:)

And here are some bonus pictures of Peyton for you to enjoy:)
Got to love him in this beanie, he's just too darn cute!
He is really enjoying bath time these days and I love it. He just enjoys relaxing in his tub:)
Hope you all have a great week!

A good week

Peyton is expressing how we are feeling this week! I thought I'd better update and let you all know that we are doing much better this week. I am feeling much better and feel like we're getting into a good groove. Peyton has been sleeping so good at night which really helps, I wasn't as tired this week and I'm feeling great today. I love Fridays! I even got an extra day with him this week when the power went out at 10 AM and wouldn't be back on until after 5! So I got to come home from work and be with my favorite little guy. Peyton is getting more fun everyday. He is so smiley and loves to play on the ground. He is growing every day and just can't get enough of him, he's such a sweetheart! he's two months old now, time is just flying by and we love him more each day!
Love that cute little tongue sticking out:)

Surviving

This picture says it all. Peyton is expressing just how I feel. I have made it through my second week of work. I won't lie it has been rough but it is getting better. Peyton has been doing really good with Shaye, it's just me not doing good with out him. Although he does start missing me when his belly gets hungry and that is where this sad face came from. Shaye took this waiting for me to get home for lunch to feed the little guy, it is nice to know I am wanted and needed:) Being back at work hasn't been so bad, the days go by pretty quickly because we are very busy but I am just so tired, by the time Thursday rolls around I'm barely making it. Peyton has been sleeping really good at night and is going 7 hours, which I am so very grateful for! Thank you sweet Peyton!
Peyton is growing up so fast, he will already be two months old this week. He is so strong. He loves to lift his head and look around at the world with those big brown eyes.
Shaye has discovered that Peyton enjoys watching Baby Einstein off You Tube. Thank you You Tube for helping Shaye babysit:)
Peyton has started to wrap his arm around mine when I'm carrying him around. It totally melts my heart, I feel like he's giving me a hug and I love it!
Yeah it's Friday and we get to spend three whole days together, I couldn't be happier!! He is looking older everyday, he's starting to get some chubby cheeks and a little double chin. Gotta love the baby chubs:)
I think he looks so old in this picture, he's growing up to fast! Also it looks like he has no hair but he does it is just getting lighter I think and probably thinning a little on top.

He is such a smiley guy these days. I was trying to caught a good smile but never quite got it but I thought this one was pretty funny with him sticking out his tongue, such a silly boy.
All and all life is good and we are enjoying everyday with our little sweetheart! Here comes another week hopefully everything goes smoothly, wish us luck:)

Peyton's Special Day

We had a wonderful weekend and I'm so sad it's over. Partly because I am now back to work but also because it was just so nice. We saw lots of family which is the best and we had Peyton's blessing. It was wonderful! First Grandma Alta, aka GG, came to see little Peyton and they had a great time together. He gave her lots of good smiles and even his first little giggle:) I feel bad cause I didn't even get a picture of her with Peyton, we were both busy taking pictures of the little man I guess. Then everyone was here for Peyton's blessing on Sunday. It was very nice and we loved having everyone here. So here are the pictures from our great weekend.
Isn't he so cute in his little Halloween shirt from Aunt Jana. Thanks Jana it was perfect!
Happy Halloween everybody!
Here is me and Peyton with Grandma Brown at the blessing. I just love Grandma Brown, if I can be even a little bit like her I would be happy, she is so great!
Now these are the best my dad caught these great smiles, I love him:)

Grandma and Em's enjoying the good time.
Shaye and Peyton after the very nice blessing that Shaye gave him. Peyton was great, Shaye said he was just about asleep when it was done. I think Nate took this picture, that's why his head is a little cut off but I think it's cute.
Our first real family picture:)
Got to love Peyton relaxing after his big day. Shaye got him set up with all the essentials:)
We love you little Peyton, we're so glad you're in our family!
