Merry Christmas to all!!

What a great Christmas weekend! I am still trying to recover from little sleep and good eats:) We had a great time with family and are very grateful for all the kind gifts we received. Peyton had a fabulous weekend. He didn't care at all about the gifts he just loved seeing all of his favorite people and he loved all the decorations! He loves Christmas trees and lights! It was fun to watch him with everyone and see how happy he was. We can't believe how much he is growing up and how much he is changing and learning. He is getting so smart and sometimes finding himself in trouble but he makes us smile and laugh everyday and we just couldn't love him more!
Christmas started early last week when Peyton got to go to Aunt Janet's and open a present.
Good thing I took a picture this was the only present he helped open all weekend.
This is Christmas Eve morning, I swear Peyton knew it was a special day he was so happy and crazy all day.
Peyton was SO excited when GG got to town! He really was it was cute he followed her around the moment she arrived and wanted to help her bring everything in. She brought him this very cute rocking horse that Peyt is still warming up to. He was a little scared of him at first but they are becoming better friends now:)
Don't we look like an excited bunch? Good thing me and Bransen are excited, everyone else doesn't seem to excited for Santa to come, or maybe they were nervous about the food since I did some cooking:)
Everybody waiting for Jenn to call us on skype from the Philippines on her mission. Grandpa Chuck wouldn't let the computer out of his sight he wanted to be the first to see her face.
Here's the busy body just running circles around the house.
I just realized this was our 5th Christmas together, crazy how the time goes by and how much has changed.
Our little family
Merry Christmas morning!! Peyton was excited to come down and discover all the gifts he didn't realized he had gotten the night before.
He loves his new chair from Grandma Monica. It is just his size he loves to climb on and off it by himself.
Then it was off to Kanab to the Jackson's. Peyton was thrilled to find Fredy there. This poor dog got chased around all day long! I am sure he was happy to see Peyton go:)
Run Freddy run!
We were spoiled and got see Jenn again while she talked to her Dad and family. She looks so great and happy and we couldn't be happier for her and all the good she is doing!
Then we found Santa at my parents house! Peyton really likes uncle Nate but he wasn't so sure of him as Santa. I must say Nate is a great Santa and getting better every year:)
Peyt and Santa's best helper, Auntie Em:) Merry Christmas to all!!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I can't believe it is already Christmas time, this year has flown by so fast!! I'm not complaining though cause I love Christmas time, you know it is the most wonderful time of the year:) We have been enjoying decorating the house and seeing Christmas lights and teaching Peyton not to play with the decorations, they are just so pretty he can hardly stand it! He does pretty good though, just has to be reminded several times a day we don't play with them. He keeps trying thinking one of these days things will change and he can play with whatever he wants:) He has already met Santa this year and the following pictures will show how that went...
Things started out pretty good...
then it was like, what am I doing up here...
and who are you?!
Love those little teeth on the bottom. He is getting A LOT of teeth right now. They are coming in everywhere! It will be a happy day when all the teeth are finally in.
I love this. He is so funny he loves to look at the nativity. He likes to growl at the sheep and then when he talks to baby Jesus it is in the soft little whisper of baby talk, so sweet I love it. I keep telling him that sheep don't growl but he doesn't listen. It is pretty funny though. He knows he is not supposed to touch them but sometimes I find that the sheep have been rearranged. It is so fun when you see your child catch onto something you have been trying to teach him. Last night when we were getting ready to go to bed he was just playing around and I said Peyton should we say prayers before bed? He popped right up and walked over to me with his arms folded. It just about brought a tear to my eye, it was so sweet.
These are all of his buddies on the stairs. He likes to say hi to them as we go up or down. They are all of our Christmas stuffed animals. It makes me smile every time when he waves at them:)
He loves the tree. He gets as close as he can and sometimes touches it and then says, "preee" for pretty. I always tell, don't touch it's pretty. So he knows not to touch pretties:)
Happy Christmas time with my boy!
Look who is looking all grown up?! We went to my sister Emily's dance concert last week which was great. Peyton enjoyed it as long as he could sit in his own seat. I guess he thinks he is a big kid and doesn't need to sit on my lap anymore:( He liked sitting there and dancing to the music, it is crazy to me how much he is changing and growing up so darn fast!

Thanksgiving Weekend 2011

This Thanksgiving was another fabulous one. It was always one of my favorite traditions when all the Brown's would get together for Thanksgiving and it is still as great now as I always remember it being. It is crazy how the family just keeps growing and growing we had about 50 people this year and I think it is safe to say that fun was had by all:) Since my whole immediate family was there we got family pictures since we have a few new additions since our last one:)
I love this picture of Peyton with his Great Grandma and Grandpa Brown. Peyt was ready for the big feast, his favorite things to carry around all day was spoons and a plate:)
Grandpa and all of his Granddaughters that were there. We all love Grandpa, he really is the greatest man I know.
Notice the spoon...
now double spoons!
It is hard work getting a good picture of all of us but I think this one is pretty good. Everyone is looking and no one is crying:)
Our little family
Peyton was getting pretty sick of taking pictures, he thought it'd be more fun upside-down:)

My First Niece is Here!

Tenley Jane Glazier is here! I am so excited to be an aunt again and to have my first niece! She is a beautiful baby girl and we are so happy to have her part of our family. She is such a good little baby and I can tell she will be a sweet little girl.
I do love being an auntie:)
Maybe Tenley can help calm down these crazy boys. They sure had a fun time playing together and I can't believe how much they are each growing up!! I think I need to get me one of these tables they loved having snacks and lunch here together. Sure do love all these boys!

Shaye got a deer!

Another hunting season has come to a close, (thank goodness:) Shaye got a buck on the last day and I am so glad so that he can be a happy man again. Peyton thought it was pretty cool and it was funny to watch his reaction. Thats Shaye's brother with him and Peyton in the picture, Shaye wanted to give him a "shout out" for all his help this year.

Happy Halloween

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

It was really hard to get a picture of these two.
Peyton the skunk with his best friend neighbor, Kinley the Kitty:)

Here they are the next day. Looks like Kinley had too much candy and is in a sugar daze:)

Mountain Trip

We enjoyed a nice drive up the mountain this weekend to check out the pretty leaf's. Sadly some of the trees had already lost theirs but it was still a pretty drive. We made several stops a long the way and took some pictures, I love the beauty of fall. Just hopes it lasts awhile longer before the winter comes.

My goodness I love these boys!

It turned into quite the little photo shoot, ha ha. What a great day, love being with my boys:)

Growing Up

Since Peyton has turned one I swear he has grown up so much each day. He is always doing something new and he's learning so much. He has officially started walking about a week or two after his birthday. One night every time I turned around he was walking after me. He started out slow and stiff. It was so funny, he would get going and then try to go faster and faster until he would fall down. Now he is getting pretty sturdy and is walking more than he crawls. He love to make animal sounds when you ask him what a cow, dog and lion say. the lion sound is his favorite, he has a great growl:) Puppies are his favorite though if there is a picture of a puppy in a book we have to look at that page 50 times!
Loving the backyard before it gets to cold.
This was when he was doing some of his best walking, he's so proud of himself.
Meet Blue, this is his favorite little buddy that he takes everywhere. It is just about the cutest thing how excited he gets when he sees him lying around. Before nap time and bed time sometimes we have to go looking for Blue and it is the cutest thing when Peyton says "Boo, Boo", makes me smile every time:)
He is really into shoes lately. He likes wearing his own shoes and he loves to try on mom and dad's shoes, they're just a little to big:)
Nothing to exciting going on here but life is good:)
